The Acme Theater has been a consistent landmark at the center of the 300 block of East Main in Riverton from the time it was completed in 1920 until the present. Shown at right in the 1950s when it was owned by Tom Knight, it had been built by Belle Mote, Riverton's most prominent businesswoman.
